Royal Yellow is a neutral, warm-leaning yellow. Meaning it ever so slightly has an orange undertone, which is only noticeable when comparing it to a cooler yellow.

Compared to Sunshine, Royal yellow is a warmer yellow

It makes a great primary yellow in a mixing palette, and for a mixing trio, we recommend combining it with Ultramarine blue red shade and Venetian red.
