April is a warm yellow-orange that was inspired by its namesake month. It has a lovely rosy undertone to it and might separate slightly on paper.

It also makes a great mixing color for florals, where we recommend combining it with Quinacridone magenta and May or Ivy.

April is a prime example of a color that like different depending on the paper that you’re using, please keep this in mind while painting.
